Hasselblad camera bag

So, I picked up the Hasselblad 503cx last week from MarcMiller29 on eBay, and I have been shooting here and there. Now I understand how owning a Hasselblad can endanger your " family "relationships. (Insert wife's name) "C'mon honey.. It's a new camera and it needs accessories !
Just like when you buy a dress and have to buy new shoes, a new coach bag, a new silver necklace, and a new hairdo.... It's the SAME thing !"
But in reality you just get that *stare*, the wife stare.
You've seen it a hundred times. Sometimes it's easier to beg forgiveness than to ask for permission.
So some things showed up from different retailers all on the same day, right when she was heading out to get the mail. Those are lottery odds !
Down into my lap they are thrown, in a reluctant approval.
Glad the leather strap didn't show up today, because she might have beat me with it.

There is no elegant way to carry a Hasselblad film camera. Either you carry it like a 5 pound football or you put it in some sort of bag. European Man Bag-which is a longer way to say American Sissy purse, or a camera bag that you steal from your other cameras.
So how do you carry a $1500 dollar 5 pound brick without dropping it or looking like Mrs Doubtfire with your diaper bag/camera holster?
I looked around all week. Hasn't someone invented a cool shoulder bag for the Film Hasselblad group ?
I found a pretty good compromise.
It's the Lowepro Flipside 200. It was black and $51USD from B&H photo video.
It's a pretty neat bag. It's a small backpack/Slingpack High security as it opens from the back. You have to take off the sling to open it, but it is secure. Ride the subway? Nobody will unzip your bag and steal your goodies.
It's not a perfect fit for the camera, but if you want to take the Camera, 80mm lens, back and hood, a meter and numerous rolls of film it's small, high security and weighs next to nothing when it's on your back empty as you stroll around the city. I looked at messenger bags but I like to be balanced when walking through the city, plus all that weight on one shoulder, not good for my fatigue level.
I really like the backpack function when I go shoot the Mamiya RB67. The RB67 is a 12 pound monster. It's like photography and an Ironman Workout all at the same time. I use a Kata Bag for that behemoth.
YouTube has some videos on the Lowepro bags here:

Well that's what I'm using to carry my 500 series Hasselblad, a Sekonic L-398 and about 12 rolls of various 120 films.
Can't beat it for $51 dollars ! And the best part is that I get the Whole couch to sleep on by myself tonight.
